Base Maps

Other maps and indices included with ColombiaMap, GreaterAntillesMap and CentralAmericaMap

  • Prospect databases for each GIS product include a geologic base map, provided in vector format
  • Prospect and land status databases for each GIS product include vector files for infrastructure (roads, cities, towns, etc.)
  • Prospect and Land Status databases for each GIS  product include a shaded relief map, derived from 90-meter resolution SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) imagery.
  • The Central America and Greater Antilles databases include indices showing the location of stream sediment surveys, geophysical surveys, and 1:50,000 scale topographic maps.
